What my White's QXT Pro MISSED...:surprised:

Went to a park I have hunted about 10 times in the past year with the old QXT Pro...I was amazed at what I found on just this one slope that measures about 20x20 feet...I picked all these coins out of that spot, and I had been over that same ground with the White's about 3-4 times before...One quarter and a dime were within one inch of a buried 4' piece of fence pipe. Came through loud and proud with the DD coil...Pinpointing took me a while as I had to figure out which direction the pipe was laying so I could pull the coil away from it to pinpoint...
Still having a little trouble pinpointing with the 6.5x9, but this is only because I am used to round concentric coils...The Ellipticals are gonna take me a while to get used to the drag method of pinpointing...

HH,

[size=large]so you're saying the 6.5x9 is a DD coil? as usual there's mixed reviews out on it. you seem to be enjoying yours. i could look it up myself but it's funner to post and reply and read others opinion while i'm at it. especially non-dealer opinions. can't tell when it's a honest opinion otherwise.

No...the stock 8.5x11 is a DD...the 6.5x9 is an eliptical concentric...
Also learned that the 80-90 numbers for my ground balance are NORMAL for my soil conditions...I first thought something was wrong for them to be so high.

HH,
