What makes Blisstool detectors detect deeper?

Watching videos on Blisstool detectors, and reading forum posts, they seem to detect deeper than other metal detectors, the technology doesnt seem that high tech, what are they doing different than other detector manufacturers?

Detecting is not solely about depth, why are these machines not found being used for deep work in Aussie land,or infact any location,i am not knocking these machines or infact any brand name but no one machine does it all, this is why i have 11 machines and also a wide spectrum of coils to cover most scenarios. But i dont own the machine that that you have mentioned !!

Cannot really answer your question as i dont have any knowledge about the specifications, one thing i will mention is that i have only seen a few being used on either club dig or rallies over here in the UK but i do see many other brand makes, this tells me alot about these machines, please come to your own conclusion from that statement.

Be careful of videos and the weight you put behind them as far as depth testing. Most are rigged to look like the machine they are trying to promote is best. There is no one best as Mega B posted.

Well I owned a bliss, V3 and it was the deepest detector I ever owned, and it handled the minerals the best as well like coal clinker , and try hot rocks it could ignore and yet get a coin under it it just a high gain detector i would say its no better than any other brand as far as masking goes tho and i think they have improved them now i got one that was defective and the gain knob was badd so i was not getting full performance and it was still deep . sending it in was a pain, but if you were wondering if they are just making claims that are not true no they live up to the reputation its a truly deep detector

Do you think the Blisstool is just using high gain to get depth? If it is it wouldn't it be picking up more noise as well, from the videos it seems to run quiet

RelicHuntingScotland just got a new Blisstool although I havent seen him use it yet in his videos

The Sovereign GT is also an extremely deep detector but why doesn't everyone use one?

There is a good reason why there are popular machines a lot of people use and popular machines only a few use. I used to own a Sovereign GT and was amazed at the depth. Problem was the type of hunting I did it was almost useless. Ever see a Sovereign GT as a tot lot machine? A trashy park machine? The right tool for the right job. I'm sure the Blisstool is a fine machine but I'm pretty sure it would not fit my style of hunting.

If depth is all you think you need then give it a shot and let us know the outcome.

I wasnt thinking of getting Blisstool more curious as to how a VLF achieves PI depth

I would say that if its just pure depth that you are curious about,of course depending on which PI machine you use if you put a bigger coil on the Pulse then of course you could go even deeper, would the Blisstool be able to counter punch that extra depth gained by the PI/larger coil combo i wont comment on that one,as a rule i dont like commenting on depths etc,but the PI would be my prefered choice but once again only on specific sites and scenarios.

Hello Dan,

I use the Blisstool V5 model, And can honesty say it does detect deep out in open ground (fields/orchards) and such.

Here's an example, Recently picked up a deep signal and called my hunting buddy over to check the signal with his Deus. Deus sens was 90 so it was pretty high, Tried different kHz while scanning the Deus coil over the signal and the Deus would not give an audio signal but did give a small visual clip on the upper right horseshoe, Not a signal to dig and would most likely have been passed by most Deus users.

Dug a deep plug and sure enough at the bottom was a small dime size piece of low conductive trash, The V5 hit that deep signal with ease loud and clear. However, For me the v5 is for certain hunting conditions out in open areas like farm land and such were old settlements of long ago are hidden showing no signs of ever being there, It's here out in these areas my Blisstool v5 surpasses my other top end detectors.

Normally, Due to the mineralization in my area can only run gain at it's lowest setting but can run Boost on. Even with these settings the v5 punches down deep deeper than my top end VLF, The only other detector that can punch down as deep or even deeper at times is my ATX PI. We have some mineralization that do effect VLF, The V5 is one of the few detectors that does well in my area even with the lowest Gain setting but with boost on this gives the v5 that added punch.

Blisstoll is not for everyone, One needs patience, persistence and eventually they will see the advantage with using the v5.
