What kind of spigot is this?

Dear David,

For me it looks like a spigot you push into an old wooden beer or wine barrel.
I would thins so, because the end you would push into the barrel looks to me conical. What would be some kind of typical. (to seal the hole you punch with the spigot into the barrel. Peter

Sound to me like some handyman work. So the guy who did this stopped selling beer from wooden barrels and re-used the spigot by adding it to his new copper beer pipe. :lmfao:

I still think it is a spigot for a barrel for some kind of liquid.
I sure they produced them in different sizes, like the produce barrels in different sizes.
Big ones for big barrels (beer / wine ), small one for small barrels (whiskey) and even miniature ones.

Peter
