What kind of plastic

is the coil on the EX II? More important what would be the best, strongest glue to try and stick it back together? It gave out just like the XS.

Here's one of those secret tricks. Take an old coil cover and cut it into little 1/4 inch chips. Place them in a glass container, and add acetone. (You can get it at Walmart, Kmart, any place they sell paint.)

Give it a little while to start to melt the plastic, and stir it into a nice smooth paste.

Once it is the right consistency, just smear it on the broken, cracked, chipped, or bitten coil. Allow it to dry and it will be better than new!

Just be sure that the coil area to be repaired is CLEAN first and no water is present inside the coil. I use rubbing alcohol to clean it, let it dry completely, use a putty knife to apply the patch and take your time .. makes a very nice repair.
