I have had a 65X for around 17 yrs, great machine, I love its pinpont, and easy to use. I lost the instructions years ago, and I was using it last summer upnorth on my freinds property. They have a bunch of really old cabins there that date back to the 30's. I thought for sure I would find some old coins. But nothing but newer clads . And not very far down. No one has detected there as far as they know and they have owned it since '79. I just recently realized that the sensitivity knob pulls out so you can get even more depth, and I had it in, and probably all the way up. As I recall, once you do pull the knob out, it can get real sensitive in some places.
When I bought it, it was supposed to be one of the deepest machines out.
What kind of depth is it really capable of, especially when you pull the sensitivity knob out, and adjust it as high as you can go before you get interference?
Also, is there anyone out there still using this machine?
