What Kind Of Batteries Do You Use?

NiCad rechargeable for older detectors

Li-Ion / Li-Po rechargeable for newer detectors

Alkaline for all my "C" cell and 9VDC powered detectors

All batteries I use are from reputable name brand battery manufacturers, no super high capacities, very inexpensive "good" deals.

OEM (as supplied) by SunRay, MAXXPACKS, and RnB Innovations
Eveready
Duracell
Tenergy
Sanyo
Panasonic

I find the Energizer brand of alkaline batteries will leak when left in equipment, so I stay away from them. I mostly use rechargeables, and have never had any issues with them, other then holding a charge for a less time after a years useage.

I like the R&B battery pack,I get 35 to 40 hours out of a charge.I've had use this battery more then four years.

I have been using EBL rechargeables for the past 3 years or so. Never had a problem, leak or any other unpleasantness.
I can't kneel to dig anymore, so that sidelines me as far as metal detecting goes. Mostly I use them in game cameras. No problems still.
Shawn (waiting for grand kids to get big enough to help me dig targets.)
