What is your Favorite Footwear for beach and water hunting?

I would love to go barefoot down the beach, but since I'm hunting late at night at times, I'm not exactly watching where my foot lands...and during the day, there are more beautiful things to look at in the Sea and on land than to be looking down @ my feet
SO I like to wear a boot to protect my feet from my scoop, shells, rocks, glass, dog poo, or any other object I really wouldn't want to step on bare footed.

After walking 4+ hours on the beach in my current boots, my feet feel it...so my question is arch support?

The NRS Cross-4 that Gulf Hunter suggested looks like they try to remedy that with the strap???
The other question is Zippers...my first set had a zipper, but didn't stay up so my current set are pull on. I would like to go back to Zipper just for ease of putting on/removing.

Any other suggestions or comments?
I would like to have a pair of boots for longer than one beach season!

The NRS Paddle Wetshoe are what I am now going into my 3rd season with. They zipper and have a velcro strap that gets hooked after the zipper is up. The strap keeps the zipper up, or at least it has for me.
