What is your favorite coil for your MXT PRO???

I will be getting an MXT PRO very soon and am wondering for those who have the MXT or the MXT PRO what Is you most used coil and WHY?? I know there are many coils available for the MXTs. I myself will be doing all types of detecting in all three modes of the MXT. Your input and suggestions on your favorites is greatly appreciated. I have no problem ordering extra coils with the MXT. Thanks

I have the following

300 - Came with my machine,,, too heavy for daily use. Might be okay in an open field,, but otherwise it stays at home

950 - Good coil,,,, swings great in the brush,,,, glides over grass,,,, pinpoints great

9" Spider - Very light,,, swings easy,,, snags in the brush,,, mine false a little when you bump things

8X6 Detech - Lovely little DD coil,,,, Hits an 8 inch dime in my test garden,,,, doesn't cover a lot of ground per swing,, very lightweight

5.3- Great little coil for trashy areas,, glides over grass,,,, great for really working an iron infested area

Its hard to believe only one person owns an MXT or MXT PRO? Was sure looking for personnel experience and feedback on coils used for the MXT on what has worked best for their type of detecting. Information is appreciated. Thanks

Well here we go, I don't like the mxt in high trash with any coil, having said that, a few months ago I bought the detech ultimate 13" DD and mounted it to the mxt all pro, and buddy that thing come alive in my soil. No coin left behind in the 10" range. Guaranteed. Great pin pointing, separation, etc... I have every whites coil there is and the detech is best. Other than that I suppose my 6x10 is the next best. However if I get into heavy trash I switch to the v3i, then before I declare it clean , I run the mxt over it and finish it off. Just my two cents.

I like the 6x10 on mine. Decent ground coverage and it sniffs out some deep stuff. I use the old school mxt

10x12 SEF - great for deep targets. I also have the Ultimate 13" which is a smidge deeper (maybe like 1/2") but isn't as good at separation at depth, and I figure the tradeoff if having better separation will find me more targets than just sheer depth alone. The Ultimate 13" is the absolute deepest MXT coil in my experience.

6x10DD - good general purpose jewelry hunter. It's like a wiper blade. Not very deep (heck the 5.3 is even deeper) but it covers a lot of ground for its size, balances very well, and is VERY stable and quiet. In fact the quietest MXT coil of them all.

5.3 Eclipse - for heavy trash. It's stable and has accurate VDI. The 4x6 Shooter is just too maddeningly small. Easy pinpointing and balances well.

I've tried all the others, and most of them are all pretty decent except for White's 10" DD which I didn't like at all because it was heavy, not that deep, suffered from EMI problems, and had a bouncy VDI.

The nice thing is that MXT owners have so many great coils to choose from.

6x10 , good coverage/separation for trashy areas, good depth, great in brushy spots due to its solid configuration, no other coil is a better general purpose coil IMHO.
