Stock coils are the best for me. Had a lot of others, so, so.

Dear. Forget the stock coil only think about nel snake or nel thunder coil with great voice and clear also it's better than stock 100%

I use my nel tornado on my at gold ,very rarely take it off have had very good luck with it.

coil I have dug 69s at 12 to 14 inches

What is the difference between the NEL sharp shooter and the Garrett 5X8 coil? Any construction,performance difference for example. One of these will be on my AT Pro I just want the most bang for the buck.

My experience has been that the Sharp Shooter gets a little better depth........as to be expected, I guess, as it is a bit bigger. Although it seems to separate equally as good. On my A T the Sharp Shooter gets near equal depth as the 11" coil, but gets better separation in heavy trash. My 2 cents for whats its worth. HH jim tn
