WHAT IS YOUR BEST FIND?

I though it would be interesting to post a new thread devoted to this. It would be even better if people could respond with a PHOTO, and possible value of your item. I love looking at everyone's latest treasures- Its what got me started MD'ing in the first place.

Hello Clay, You are in for an enormous treat :please: We have The Best Detectorists
here . GrayGhost , Coinnut, TabDog just to name a few. Come on guys post em up
for him :clapping:

Terri

Can't even begin to pick a favorite, so I'll post some of my better ones. All of them are special and still make me feel good when I look at them. HH
1785 Connecticut Copper, 1805 Half Cent, 1795 Liberty Capped Large Cent, 1800, 80 over 79 overdate Draped Bust Large Cent, 1820 Bust Dime, 1859 Seated Half Dollar.

These are my best finds, the nugget was my first with a detector and the other pics were some of my first finds when i started coin shooting this year. I am still hoping for a coin from pre 1900 but I'm sure it will come.:detecting:

I have found gold rings probably worth more, but this is my most treasured find.

hi clay! yeah, your're in for some surprises. i've been looking at coinnut's finds for the past half hour! wow! i'm glad he posted 'em up! it's just incredible what he's found. pictured are: a 1781 spanish 1/2 reale, a 1773 spanish 1 reale, and a 1795 spanish 2 reale, a nice union button, a rare young smith virginia seal button, c. 1842 - 1844, a 14k gold cross i found last summer.
the 1/2 oz. silver round i bought at the flea market. i thought it was cool, so i got a couple at a good price. this is just a small sampling of what is still out there to find if your're willing to be patient and persistent, and do your homework. all of these finds were unexpected and all were found in the most unlikely places.so, thanks for looking and reading, and hh,

Of my 11 gold coins, my favorite is an 1880S $20 gold. Not worth too much ($1000 at today's spot market?) but I liked it due to the extensive research it took us to finally find this stage stop site out in the middle of nowhere.

I have a few. The 1st one is 22K found in a tot lot. The second is a group all found withen one week of each other. My favorite of the bunch is the Walker half, Beale.

My Best Finds are not always my Favorites, I never think about what my finds
are worth, they are all Very Special
My Best coin find was a 1890 Morgan, but my favorite was an 1805 LC, my first

That's a hard question.

I don't have anything that good. I just find a lot of it.

Maybe one of these rings.

This is a 14k gold ring with a 1/5th ct pair shaped diamond.
