What Is Your Best Clad Day ?

$17.32
I was at the beach with a storm coming in. And found a heavy silver braclet. I was using he original garrett gta 1000 at this time.
I have often found over 200's in a day but less than $5.00 , when hunting bus stops.

Found $35 at a beach after a storm.
We have $1 and $2 coins so the totals go up fast

$22.29. Best for the few times I have been out this year is 11.42.

I have pulled some strings to have that school closed for classes for one week. I'll let you know how I do, too.

I can guarantee you that most :usaflag:US hobbyists envy the $1 and $2 :canadaflag: coins up north, and especially like the :ausflag: finds with plenty of $1 and $2 coins, a smaller count of pennies, and are you really going to have a $5 coin soon?!! Rumors have it that detector sales ought to increase down that way. :)

Thanks for the excellent video, and I trust you have re-hunted that school a LOT, and that you can find others of similar production. Any reason why there would be that quantity of those coins in that confined area?

Hi Monte

Schools here are on a two-week Easter break so guess where I'll be going over the Easter long weekend :bouncy:

A $5 coin was produced once but it was more of a commemorative coin than one for circulation. But for now we're happy with our $1 and $2 coins. That certain section of the school is loaded because the school holds an annual 'fete' (I think you call them school fairs over there?) - and this section is where they have the games and craft stalls so lots of coins drop.

I've been to that school only about 3-4 times and I can guarantee that there are more goodies to be found :)

Cheers

$26.25 All in one park, all in one day, split by a lunch break. About 7 hours total hunt time. 165 coins, 83 QUARTERS, the rest of the breakdown I dont remember. I also got a gold ring, a silver ring and a silver Tiffany pendant that day. Yes, I was just a little sore the next day, but it was worth it.
