What is this?

Here is what I believe to be some sort of a coin that I found at a soccor field last year
I haven't been able to identify the item as of yet.
Anyone know what this item is?
On my CTX3030 the target ID reads 12.25-26 and it sounds like a nickel..

Hammered coin of some sort. Possibly a reproduction, but it would take someone with a better eye than mine to confirm that. I suppose it could be real considering they can be had for so cheap on ebay..

I followed up on your "Hammered Coin" suggestion and it does look as if it could fall into that category.
. I've had this for a couple of years and the park that I found it in isn't but twenty or so years old.
There's a tiny hole in it so it could have been on a chain or bracelet.

Send a pic to the British Museum. They should be able to identify it, if it's real.
