I found this "token" in the back yard of a house. I have tried to research the origin of it but haven't found anything. It appears
to be a 1.00 casino token or something. Does anyone recognize it or can identify it for me? It says "CAIRO', sphinx and pyramid on one side and 1.00 on the other.
 
It looks similar to the one that is from Omar Khayyam Casino in Cairo. Although the ones that I can find on the web don't have the 1.00 on it. It could be from the Luxor in Las Vegas, but don't know. Good find though.
 
Casino's probably change logos and designs from time to time. Could have switched token manufacturers over the years. What size U.S. coin is it similar to? Looks to be in good shape. Nice find.
