Found this today along with another v nickel, it looks like maybe a ear ring it says sterling but what is the jewel maybe jade i dont know its a inch long thanks bryan
 
Sure looks like an earring Bryon, but the stone is not clear enough for me to tell. turquoise maybe?
 
Come on Guys and ladies that is an earbob. My Grany called them earbobs. LOL the screw part was was screwed down to pinch the ear lobe between the screw and back of the frame. Ooch:wiggle:

Yes, it's an earring. Screw back type. It was a nice quality one it it's day. I remember playing with my mom's when I was a child. Then later we both got our ears pierced. Nice find, but can't tell much about the stone. HH, Nancy
