What is this band

Here are some that I have personally found, along with a few finds from recent hunts at the time. I put them on a waterfowl forum in hopes that they could have been on wild waterfowl but it turns out they are for chickens and farm use. They became very common in the 40's/50's when mass vaccinations were required and each animal needed a unique identification. These bands are still sold today. They are called "ATLAS SEAL #8907"

Yeah, must be a USDA domestic bird band, if it is a wild bird ID band then you should be able to get the information as to species, where and when it was released from the Bird Banding Laboratory. I sent them the information about a wild bird band that I found, but the page is down is currently down,

Two more links to get information.

I'll see if I can find the Certificate that they sent me, you may be able to get the information via e-mail, verbal or on a certificate like I did.

Here is a photo of the Certificate that they sent me some years ago, I've edited what I think is personal identifying information, good luck.
