What is the difference between a 5900 and a Blue Gray?

Other than the meter face and the decals is there any difference?

Blue and Gray has relic marking on the meter and the 5900 has coins marking on the meter. The detectors are the same and very good detectors.look on the Whites web site for manuals.:super:

I have been told by a Whites dealer that there were two versions of the Blue & Gray. The earlier models are identified by a 6 digit serial number and the later a 12 digit serial number. The early models have a volume control, a good bit more depth and sensitivity. The early models were very similar to the 6000di pro, but with a manual ground balance instead of the auto-track. I picked up a early model this past summer for $25. The owner said it didn't work, turns out the battery contacts had some corrosion on them. It is a great detector.

Circuit wise, the same.

The Display on the Visual Discriminator is different.

The Pro Series has been discontinued... in favor of Digital M6/MXTs.

The New Low Profile Sierra Madre utilizes the 6000 XL Pro's Powerful all metal mode for Prospecting for larger huggets and as a Cache Hunter.
