What is the differant between the CZ-20 and CZ-21 ?

Better battery compartment & seal.

Improved Pin Point button.

I bit smoother & more sensitive.

Due to such nice weather we have been having I have had only a limited time to water test the new CZ-21.

Is the nickel still high tone with the other coins. If so what is the point of having a tone ID detector. Hunted with a CZ20 for 12 years. I did not like the nickels(maybe gold rings) mixed in with the other coins.....Jack

From the little testing I have done with the CZ-21, ( just too darn cold to go to the beach), I found nickles coming in high tone, on real close target ones.

Moving the coil away 4" - 5", moved the tone into the mid range. I don't find this unusual as this is common with all tone ID units.

Let me explain a bit further. :) This was in very rough field testing, and the nickel was laying on top of the ground. There is no doubt in my mind that the target response would certainly be different in the salt water or the ground.:surprised:
