What is the deal???

The lineup you see is the lineup that they are currently offering. They've purged out slow selling detectors and have added the EDGE. Keep you eyes open , you just never know.

I have used some proto detectors from a couple manufactures and most where to hot for general use. The thought was that hunters would call them unstable because they could find #9 bird shot at a foot plus. Nobody wants to dig that deep for something they can't see. After all the supplies and productions cost, advertisements, write ups, etc. It would be to costly to flop because some "Billy Bob" found a tree root with it and bad mouthed it.

So detectors are advanced slowly till customers catch up to technology.
