What is the correct screw size of the screw that holds the control box to the handle on the xterra's?

I am not real sure? I do know that I have been running mine without one for almost 2 years now. No issues, Beale.
 
Yea, unless the head is really loose, don't worry about it. I never used mine because it is easer to clean the grip and rod in the sink to get the dirt off.

If you go to your local Ace hardware store and ask for:

a No. 6 x 1/2" (half) PH (Phillips head) you will get what you need.
