What is the Best Way to Clean Green Off Gold Filled Ring

As in the subject

I have a 1/30 14K Ring that has a Green Coating on the outside

I would like it removed and am not sure how best to do it

I will provide pictures when I get some results

since the color is green I would suspect it is oxidized copper. Any jewelry cleaner should work. The white vinegar-salt method should also.
