What is the Best Headphones for the GT

I just got my GT and I was wondering what type of Head Phones would work with the GT the best. I know everybody has the favorite brand, but trying to take a poll on which pair to buy. So come on you season hunters, give me some input.

I feel the best are the timberwolf ''predator'' headphones. I have tried the killer bees ''the wasp'' and they are very good as well..........I hear talk of the sunray pro ''gold'' but I havent given them a go personally.......I think any top end model would be adequate and any differences would be subtle......timberwolf, killer bees, sunray pro gold, or grey ghost .All top notch phones.....good luck .......

For the Sovereigns I find the Timberwolfs works the best for me for both volume and tones it has. I have tried many of the others, but like the Timberwolfs for the Sovereign and the Troy Pros for my Explorer SE. The Sun Ray gold would be my next choice on the Sovereign.

I use Black Widows on mine, great for beach hunting as they really drown out the noise of the surf and people asking "What are you doing?"

I think I have narrowed it down to either the Black Widow or the Sun Ray Pro Gold. I have Owned Gray Ghost, Killer Bees and Jolly Rogers but I think I'm going to try something different this time. Don't get me wrong I think they are all great headphones, but Like I said think I'm going to go with either the Black Widow or Sun Ray Pro Gold. So thanks for all the suggestions.

Black Widows distort the sound on my GT, but work great on my SE. I put Gray Ghosts on my Excal and people there ain't nothin like em. So, I bought a pair of Gray Ghost Ultimates for my GT and I never looked back.
They separate sounds better than anything I've tried.

A lot of the secrets of a GT are in the tuning/balancing of the volume of the detector vs the volume of the headphones. It's almost like tuning a guitar. You know when you're dead on as the sounds are harmonic and vibrant.

Your smiling everytime I see you, its not the gold , its the tunes you have going! My Black Widows work really well on my GT , you just have to set them up right, they make your ears sweat in the hot Florida sun but Im normally walking off the beach looking at my gold rings before the sun gets too high in the sky.
