in NW Georgia for relic hunting? I just bought one and I think it's coming with the 9x8 coil.

Lighter weight. Allows better separation of targets. Solid bottom won't snag in the brush. More sensitive to smaller targets. Not much difference in depth from the stock coil. Supertuning can make this think pick out a nickel at over a foot! Outstanding coil. Seems as if most of the folks who buy one never put the stock coil back on. HH Randy
