What is new for White's detectors

Johnny

New member
I thank in a yr. are so White's will make all there detectors like the Prizm V ,that will be good to get the black box gone. They have to stay up with the other detectors.

Well, we think what we are and I don't know who's putting out that information.

The Prizms have a remarkable lightweight configuration, a BIG improvement over the older Classic Technologies.

Whites and Minelab are the current leaders in technology, but don't discount Tesoro or Garrett.

White's has nothing to worry about and good things are coming down the road featuring improvements in performance, depth, selectivity etc.

White's newest entry level in the discriminator general purpose detectors is the Matrix M-6. Uses the same horse power as the MXT but a bit quieter and seven tone ID. You can Email me for the M6 Tips that I wrote for White's as an insert to the manual.

Its puts the weight of the batteries under the forearm, instead of out at the hand.

It encases the circuit boards and other sensitive electronics in lightweight, aerospace grade aluminum. Not cheap plastic.

When putting the detector down, the design keeps the detector from falling over because it's not top heavy.

It provides for the best location of the headphone jack.

For those folks that don't use headphones, the speaker location in the black box is aimed directly at the ears.

The black box is also where the Made In America sticker is proudly displayed. ;)

The black box also has the following information printed in ink on it (not a sticker):
1. Start up procedure
2. V.D.I. scale
3. Hot key shortcuts

I think the black box also gives the impression of a serious machine, an industrial look. Not a toy.

Other manufacturers should follow White's superior, ergonomical design.

Just my opinions, of course. :whites:

your opinions are well noted!..i agree with all that was stated!.who the hell wants to pay "big" bucks for a detector that looks like a toy!..i certainly don't!..i want quality, and you get it with white's!just another reason they ARE the industry leader!..(NO!..i do NOT work for sweet home, just been using them since christ was an altar boy
found a "ton" of goodies with whitey over 32 years!
