Took the CoRe back to the "large caliber rim fire patch" yesterday and found more .56-.56 Spencer cases and also found this...

Since I found it with the Nokta I thought I would post it here first. Any ideas what this is? It's brass. I was leaning towards firearm hardware but can't find anything on the net that matches.

Thoughts? Thanks!
