Hello everyone! This is my first posting and hope someone may be able to help me identify what I found today. The item is circular and appears to be the same diameter as a penny, but it is about 3/16 of an inch in width. I found it on on the edge of a former old dirt road on my property. The road has not been in use since sometime prior to 1956 - I would guess 1930's or 40's. I remember my uncle talking about the road being in use when he was a child and he was born in 1924. It was about 4 - 6 inches deep and believe (according to White's coin master) it is copper (at least copper coated). I can't see any numbers or letters on it, but it's in bad condition. I've attached photos. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks for your thoughts. I don't believe its two pennies corroded together because it feels lighter than a penny. I didn't get any other hits in the area of this item. I live in northwest Tennessee.

I found something that looks like that and rang in the penny range.... have no clue what it was either. It was found in noth middle Tennessee
