I cant tell you how much this looks like a cray fish or lobster claw- solid copper, note clean drilled hole in one end. Could that have been an articulation, could it have had a string or chain? Did they ever make toys out of solid copper. Maybe im way off base and its a machine part. The ends are clean so I dont think its a smaller piece that broke off of something bigger. Any ideas appreciated. CO

Could it be bronze? There are several articulate lobster/crab/crawfish antique bronzes on the Internet but I can't narrow it down exactly. Good luck, cool find & HH

actually after posting it I thought wait could this be bronze, that would explain the green tarnish flecks, Ill check on line , thanks CO

Nice one, Taz! That even has the holes where it attached. Im convinced anyways.

eARLY VINTAGE Lobster prosthetic limb. Proved to be to heavy and made the Lobster crawl in circles...

Have a Lobster downstairs made out of bronze, has claws and the back shell is removeable to store candy, etc The limbs are attached with screws through holes to the underside concealing the attachment...
