What IS A Relic?

According to some research a Relic is something to do with Religion or something from the past or an object that someone touched. We talk about Metal Detectors being good for relics but actually a Relic isn't just iron.A relic could be anything and any kind of material.Relics could be glass, clay, iron, lead, gold silver, brass, bronze, copper, even Cloth and wood.I don't think plastic qualifies as a relic.A Relic is just basically something old no matter what it's made of.A relic is not just products of war or battles only.I think most metal detectors can find relics. And relics are not always deep in the ground.Even a postage stamp is a relic. All relics are not metal only.Relics could also be any size or shape.Since metal relics can be any kind of metal than you don't have to have a high frequency detector to find them.Since iron objects are also relics then it really doesn't matter what frequency the detector is because they All find iron just as easy.If it's real old it's a relic no matter what it's made of.Relics could be Anything.
It's just another way of looking at things.Any metal detector can find relics. It doesn't have to be High Frequency only.
