What is a better than stock coil for ace 250

Maybe the 9 X 12 PROformance or the 10 X 14 DD Excelerator? I have not tried either one yet so I really can't tell you how they perform.The 10 X 14 DD Excelerator is a killer for open fields and parks.
Go's deep. The Sniper coil is great for around playgrounds and you can raise the sen all the way up also.
Both are well worth it..

Yes the new 8.5"x11" DD search coil that comes standard on the Ace 350 also works with the Ace 250 and Ace 150.
I would suggest the Excelerator 10"x14" DD search coil for best depth and ground coverage. (sold by KellyCo and available on Ebay now brand new for $99 w/free shipping).
I recently purchased the 6"x8" SEF "Butterfly" searchcoil for my wife to use on her Ace 250 and it has been working quite nicely. Better depth and stability than stock searchcoil. Also sold by KellyCo and available on Ebay for $99 w/free shipping.

Happy Hunting!I use the 9x12 as my big coil. It will do what he wants. But I've never tried the 10x14
coil, so couldn't tell you which would be best. In theory, the 10x14 should go slightly
deeper than the 9x12 just from size alone. But it's also DD.
If the 10x14 is on sale, it might be a good deal. I don't know what the 9x12 is going
for right now. The 9x12 works exactly like the stock coil, except it's bigger.
So it covers more area per sweep, and goes 2-3 inches deeper than the stock
6.5x9. The 10x14 DD naturally will act a bit differently than the stock coil.
