Here's a photo of some things that I found on our property yesterday..Not pictured is axe head # 7. Yup, so far I've dug up six and my buddy has dug up one..The joke around here is that the kids kept hiding them so they didn't have to split wood..lol Does anyone have any idea what the item on the right is? It looks like it use to be longer...

where are the pics of the axeheads, they may be Indian trade axes or belt axes from the old pioneers. I found a buckle like the one on the far left in your picture, and along with it around 6 larger hand-forged copper rivets and some severely decayed leather, I think it may be a vintage saddle belt or reign parts? Not sure yet, I am just getting into this detecting habit myself!!

Mostly horse tack. Typical finds for human occupation in vintage times. Keep searching, maybe you'll find a coin or two.
