What impact, if any, will this storm have on the beaches at Myrtle Bach SC?

Trying to predict the results is about like trying to predict the weather. Professional Weather Guessers get it wrong about half the time. We will just have to wait and see how powerful the storm will be, The track of the storm etc There is no way to be able to tell in advance how much if any sand gets moved.

I would say none. I was there last week and there is not much to be found. To early in the season and there are a lot of people that hunt MB now. Most of them use the CTX 3030 and some the Sov.GT. They hunt every day. I use to hunt MB when I was one of two or three that hunt it. Back in the 70' s and 80's most people didn't even know what you were doing. That is not true today. I used a TDI Pro last week and found very little. Good Luck and HH

I live an hour north in wilm and yea people are hunting at all hours of the night too, especially at the more popular spots. I have been having better luck going to less crowded (but still pretty popular) spots and also going into the water at the popular spots. I literally never see anyone in the water past ankle deep.

I'm heading back up to the Calabash area for the summer again. I hunt mostly at Sunset Beach and for the most part it's a good walk with little results. seems people just don't wear that nice stuff we're after much at the beach. But I keep trying. Like other said, that whole area is needs patience.
