Ok, this concerns the falsing on iron with the high, screaming at ya high pitch,ive read described. Falsing is caused by the wrap around effect, correct me if Im wrong.
So, what if, you run up on a target and get this or a similar audio and you are hunting in a coin pattern with just enough of the top right blocked in for the big silver.
If, you go to an all metal quick mask, accepting all the top right, will you still get that same high pitch??? Or what if you check it in another pattern set up for all metal with ferrous tones, do you think it would distinguish a difference or tell you enough it was iron?? I know nails are a pain, most times with my other machines I use, sizing usually tells the difference on the larger metal objects, but nails sometimes clipped or bent fool me.
