God has done so much in my life that my list of things I'm grateful for are nearly endless but among them are: Jesus loving me so much that He died for me , forgave me of all my screw ups, and offered to have a saving relationship with me. How do you say Thank You without emotionally coming apart at the seams? There's one passage of God's Word that really grabs my attention and that's John 14:12-15 "12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments."
I've discussed this with various pastors of various churches and everyone of them immediately quote Paul saying some will be this and some that. However when I say 'but these are Jesus' words - not Paul's, they have no answer. I've concluded that it depends upon your personal walk with Christ & your child-like faith. Most of the disciples, if not all, performed a number of 'miracles' just as Jesus did because they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Therefore it is one of my continuous prayers that God shower down upon me His Holy Spirit that I may live up to Jesus' words in the above text and so much more.
