What headphones would you recommend for the eagle spectrum good to Best :detecting:

Hi Bob, I just got a new to me Eagle II SL and it has a mono headphone jack, so you will need headphones that have a stereo mono switch or go to a place like Radio Shack and get a stereo to mono adapter. Not sure if the Spectrum has a mono jack or not but wanted to give you a heads up. Thanks! Steve.

I believe the switch on them is mono or stereo and has a limiter and separate controls for each ear.

I'm partial to a set of radio shack headphones I paid around $25 for but I only used a eagle II SL for about a week and a half.

I use HP-30 stereo-mono head phones with dual volume controls. Bought them at a local Whites distributor.
They were reasonable and work great with the Eagle.

I am buying a set of Troy Pro headphones, never have heard much about them hoping they will be good. Steve.

I emailed Troy to ask him if the Troy Headphones would work with my Eagle II SL since it is a mono jack detector and the Troy's don't have a mono/stereo switch. He told me it should with a stereo to mono adapter but he couldn't say for sure because he never tried a Eagle with them. So I canceled my order and ended up buying a pair of Sun Ray Pro Gold headphones. Steve.
