What HeadPhones Work Good With G2/GB And Why?

I have a pair of Sun Ray Pro Gold headphones that I use. The are comfortable for long wear, give real good audio tone.
They have worked well with any detector I have put them on.

Detector Pro "Grey Ghost".I have had mine well over 5 years and still work fine.Broke the volume knob off slamming them in my van door and still work good-just a pain to adjust volume now!
Very strong and durable with great sound.Only thing is they get real hot in warm weather.

I had these especially built with the First Texas Detectors in mind as they are really loud if needed and the sound is awesome, and fit is great! They come with a lifetime warranty as well.

koss qz-99! a genuine "sleeper" check 'em out!
outrageous sound quality,'cheap" and with a "real" lifetime warranty,
to include "ear cushions" just sayin'

qz-99's are just as good for less than half the money!
just sayin'

Koss QZ-99, the Killer B 'Wasp' (and other killer B models) and the SunRay Pro Gold (pretty much like the K-B Wasp), and certainly more. My favorite is the Killer-B Wasp that I have been sing for about 9 years or more. The SunRay Pro Gold, made by the Killer-B folks for Sunray, are my 'back-ups' and one reason I prefer these is that they use a 150 ohm speaker. the higher impedance and other audio qualities seem to just work better for me and my impaired hearing.

The Koss QZ-99 headphones cost less and do work better than most of the competition on the market, but they use a 60 ohm speaker and, for me, don't quite perform as well. A lot will depend on your personal hearing abilities, then comes the comfort and appearance of the headphone (if you are 'stylish' :) ).

this is all so true monte, and one more parameter needs mentioning, and that is the 'sensitivity" rating.
the koss qz-99 is outstanding in this regard!..just sayin' yes they are "cheap" if you will, but make no mistake,
a tougher and better built set of headphones is tough to find, and for a 7 dollar bill to cover insurance and handling,,send 'em in with ANY problem
and they get fixed, pronto, and for a lifetime!..just sayin'

had a problem with Koss repairing any of the headphones I used to use. I included them in my list because they are affordable], especially for those on a little tighter budget, but with my hearing problems the Killer-B Wasp's work better.

Whether a shopper buys the Killer-B Wasp or other model, the SunRay pro Gold, or a good Koss headphone like the QZ-99, they are all superior to most of the typical headphones we usually see promoted for metal detectors.

ain't that the truth monte! i was fortunate to be able to try the killer bee's at a dealer, and
found that i could not adjust them to my head to be comfortable!..they gave me a headache, however, other than that,i thought they
were well made, just a little too pricey for me. just sayin'
