But am seeing very few posts of finds and little on depth of finds.. Thanks All I appreciate your answers.
 
Found this dime with the V3 running factory presets in the deep silver program 5.3 coil,three frequency,very dry ground. It was between 8.5 and 9" deep it had good tone with proper id.

A few pic's of my monthly club displays and a few of individual days of finds Elton. This is probably half of what I have found with the V3. Maybe somewhat less. Not shown is my 1879 gold coin and PILES of clad.

I think they are all hot Elton. It boils down to, #1, where you hunt, #2, how much you hunt and then what machine you use. We hunt primarily private property, some park hunting and sometimes we just enjoy "clad gathering" at a sports field or school. My club monthly displays don't seem to vary much from what machine I have used over the years. Nancy posts more of where we hunt and what the finds are on her MXT forum than I do here. Posting finds on this forum just don't generate much interest, it seems. I posted a weekend hunt a couple of weeks ago when we found 308 quarters in two half days of hunting and I think I got one or two responses, yet White's paid $100 for the story from my hunting buddy that we were with and will be in the August finds.........:shrug:

I was too stunned to post a response. That's a LOT of quarters.
 
I wasn't (veiled) bashing the detector either,,In fact am thinking of getting one as you know.. (V3).... All I was seeing mostly was issues and questions.
And actually wondered why no sensational posts of finds were being made.. Thanks Larry Appreciate your answers and comments.
 
New to detecting and am interested in V3 will it find gold nuggets? How about in quarts rock country? thanks Rookie
