What happens with the Russian made Scoops?

Stavr and the Indiana line are made in Ukraine and Latvia? Seems to be great quality stuff, and could possibly become hard to get with the Ukrainian situation? Just my thoughts in these troubled times.

i like my starv scoop... far better than any OVERPRICED rtg scoop

I was not anxious to purchase a foreign made scoop so I went with the T-Rex 9.5 Wet Sand Scoop and so far I have not been disappointed. It is like carrying an excavator around with you. Yes it has some weight when you add the wood handle but I use a "Tool Lasso" and carry it on my belt.

Glad we all have a choice in what we use. My Brother In Law loves his 6" RTG scoop. Different strokes for different folks. Scoops are
Expensive as is all the Toys that we use in the Hobby. I worked retail for 13 years and find the % of markup charged by some of the dealers on our toys to be high when compared to other areas of sporting goods.

I just like to see healthy competition with the production of the tools of our trade or hobby. As for buying American made goods, I always try to purchase our own products. However, my favorite manufacturer of metal detectors are Australian based, and most are made in Malaysia. Of course, I am referring to Minelab. As for the scoops made in America, the Stealth lineup looks great, just a little costly for my blood. I currently use the RTG 6 and 5 inch. I also use a prostock scoop with 1/4 holes. Great scoop, just heavy.

its getting harder to trust the American made...just look what is happening with GM they knew for more than 10 years that the ignition were defective and said nothing until more enough people died to can a recall and this is the company that used our money to get back on their feet with the bail out

I have a Stavr scoop and I have to give props. It's lightweight and cuts the sand suction like a champ. I've dug lots of holes and it's great for the wet sand of Florida.

DIGGGGGGGGGGGGGggggggggggg!! Where have you been Brother...

bulletman. No problems with delivery today Stavr scoop worldwide Ukrainian post works as usual.
Ruslan, your scoops are the best in the world. The OP asked about Russian Scoops. It is important to know that the Ukraine is no longer Russia. It broke away as a country years ago. Unless you live in Crimea then you would NEVER want to be called Russian. That is a bad word to the rest of the Ukraine.

Don't know who gave you the RTG price of $200...I just bought their 7" 2 piece Travel setup with the heavy thick tube handle,,1 1/4" I think or more and paid $140 with warranty..It has a 9" deep bucket...Can't beat that,,I'm Canadian and buy American to keep jobs....

I like the Michigan made scoops and with their lifetime warranty, I feel you can't beat them. Everyone has a choice.
