What happens when you turn the iron on & off in Pro zero?

Seems like wehn you turn the iron off in pro zero with iron set at 0 you hear a low tone on the iron and when you turn the iron on the iron hits as a mid tone. What am I not seeing right?

I like the detector a lot and am not having any problems out hunting in Pro Custom and Pro zero. It just that Pro zero seems strange with iron on. I've been running Pro zero with iron off.

You are seeing it right. The iron goes to whatever the Disc is set at, in this case 00, so you are not going to hear any low tones with Iron Audio turned on. Turning it to off and everything below 40 will give a low tone. If you set Disc at 30 and turn Iron Audio to ON, then everything below 30 is a low tone, and so on.

Hope this helps
