What ever happened to a guy named Filo or something like that. I think he was from NY and he used to post a lot of great finds. Haven't seen anything from him for a while.

Just kidding 
I've seen a lot of posters come and go in six or seven years here. Like all hobbies some loose interest and just quit, some get upset about something here and leave, etc.
Philo hunted some good beaches(Coney Island, Orchard Beach, and Jones Beach) known for dense populations of beach go'ers, which makes for great hunting.
Maybe your post will draw him out or someone that knows him personally, will contact him and he will surface. Hopefully, he's in good health.
