What happened to the Govner? Doesn't he run this site anymore? Who is this Freddie guy?

The Govner ran this site like a business person. I asked a question here about posting and some guy called Freddie came back with some nasty remarks to me and other members with similar questions. Then he sends me this nasty email below - who is this unfriendly Freddie fella anyway? What does he think of us? He feels bothered, that he has to "babysit" us, meaning no questions allowed!
I know he is not able to answer a simple question without freakin' out, so I imagine he will ban me for speaking my mind in return, on this public forum. But this is my FEEDBACK for Freddie.
GROW UP FREDDIE AND LEARN TO TREAT YOUR MEMBERS WITH SOME RESPECT.

Well, that's what I thought too, but Freddie said "nothing is set in stone"
I didn't ask to bend the rules, I asked if there was a way to know when your alloted 1 detector in 3 months time period was up.
Just a simple question, nothing more and freddie got nasty with me and others.
I haven't sold 4 detectors in 3 years.

You certainly managed to put a lot of spin on this, including your unsigned complaint to the support department. I'm going to say this for the last time to you. Get on with what ever here at Finds, as long as it's within the rules, and you will have no further contact from me.

Other than that, i've contributed lots of "significant" postings on the forums here, if you take a look freddie.
I see you "closed" the other discussion, because noone was agrreing with your nasty replies.
I'll drop it now, but you really need to work on your people skills freddie-we are not your enemies-we are the ones who buy from your sponsors and make websites like this function!

I made my point. No further contact from you is all I could ever hope for!
If I sent my complaint in unsigned, that was an error, but I sent a link to my post and the nasty replies you made,
so they know who I was anyway.
Why do you find it necessary to speak to us like we are all dirt? Can't you just reply with an unsnotty answer from the start?
You reply like my wife once a month.

Thanks for your input Elton. Freddie may well be a great guy, however, the way he replied to my simple question, didn't make him look to great.
He got a bit nasty and I probably overreacted?
On the internet, it's easy to be overly frank with people. In person, i'm sure he would not talk that way to people and I wouldn't overreact as much either.

Well, you couldn't possibly be wrong so I will not question your statement!
I am moving on as Larry suggested. I just didn't see the need for freddie to be so nasty, that's all.
As to selling, who cares, there's loads of places to sell. I have well over 200 posts here and only sold 1 detector in the last year I believe?
I only asked a simple question and because I got a nasty answer, all of this came about.
What's that saying that decent people of days gone by used? "If you can't say something nice"???
I guess those days are gone and nastiness is considered the norm for an answer by everyone now. Especially people trying to buddy up to frddie!
Lets drop it, it's old news now.
