What goes in this tube?

This brass tube is 3 1/4" long and was made by the same company that made Lysol. The Lehn and Fink Products Corp. was in Bloomfield, N.J. from beginning in 1925. Can anybody tell me what was in this tube?

looks like a sample lipstick case from the 30's
2 pieces / can you pull it apart?

It used to open, but not any more. It seems too large for a lipstick case at 3 1/4". Would a company that makes Lysol also make lipstick?

Something in the cosmetics line, not a lot of help, but might give you a place to begin a search.

Google Tussy and you'll get your answer.. Tussy Deodorant came in those tubes.. Still does in slight variations.

I tried to find info on Google edjcox and all I could find was that Tussy Cosmetics began in 1925. The earliest pics of Tussy lipstick, etc. were from around 1943 and looked nothing like this tube. I'm going to deduce this to be some kind of cosmetic from 1925-1943.

its lipstick, both ends open and has 2 different shades of lipstick, I just found one metal detecting, and mine is in great condition, its made of brass.

It is a lipstick tube. I also have one I dug from an old hospital site.
