Hi all,

Last Fall I bought on here a 4x6 Shooter coil for my M6 and the guy told me it was not V rated.

What does it mean?

[size=medium]i believe Mary @ Whites in sweet Home told me all coils for the mxt, m6 and v machines are now v-rated.

V rated means it is made for the VX3 & V3i detectors but will work on your MXT DFX , M6 .. I have a V rated 950 on my DFX But the coil cover for the 950 coil that did come on the DFX and XLT will not fit the V rated 950 coil i know i tried .. The Vrated 950 seems to be a little bigger or made a little different..Some say the V rated coils are better than the other but i can not say for i have not had it that long..
