What Does This Suppose To Replica

Some Spanish Reales have a lion in the upper right corner of the cross. Compare yours to pictures of those.

I just found a replica on the beach I thought it was real but tested it and it was fake. It looked good though :(
I am wondering if someone is going around planting these things? It just seems weird that someone would have a replica coin on the beach...

I didn't get to excited because if is was as old as it was suppose to appear, there would have been more of a build-up salt and crude residue. The numbers and the position where the signal appeared on the smart screen of my Explorer Se didn't add up since it appeared to be gold.

Gold doesn't show very high on my mxt pro. A lot of gold items show up as junk, how would you expect your machine to verify whether it is fake or not? Anyway, on the slim odds that it could be real, heres a site that shows spanish gold coins that look similar....

I said that the numbers and where the where the signal appeared on the screen didn't add up. I didn't say or intented to say that was a verication that it wasn't gold.
