I believe it stands for cuality, for zervice... for Cuick Zilver.
:detecting: :beers:

Coin Zapper was mentioned in a previous post but never heard a legitimate answer to the original post and in all probability just sounded good...might add what in the heck does 3D stand for in Fishers latest CZ...

Forgive the flaky answer to a serious question. I believe there has never been a real answer to where CZ came from and if anyone knows they are not telling. Kind of like info on the new model being readied for Christmas...

..so what do I know..I'm just a kid LOL

Thanks All !

I just sent a message to Fischer for an official answer and will post their reply here.

I asked Fisher for the last time it was posted. It stands for NOTHING. Somebody just decided that it sounded good.

Somebody just decided that it sounded good.......I can't believe a highly respected company like Fisher and the oldest in the business would treat one of their model names so lightly. Surely that "somebody" could have been a little more creative by choosing a prefix with serious meaning behind it !

Anyway, thanks for your reply scubadetector. ;)
