What Does CZ Stand For...

now that the old Fisher is gone? I recall reading years ago in a copy of Fisher World News, where someone asked what CZ stood for? The response was that it was a secret and would not be revealed by Fisher. At the time I thought that was rather silly and made me think of my family history- well at least 1/2 of it! Now that the old Fisher is gone, does anybody finally know what CZ stands for?

Cubic Zirconium?

Collecting Zincs??

Good question!! Call First Texas on Monday and ask if no answer here!!!

Unfortunately to my knowledge the old Fisher never answered that one...so Harold your guess is as good as mine.

Probably a marketing catchy name or something they pulled out of their hat but names colors and the like to sell units. Just look at those fishing lures with eyes and catchy colors to sort of catch the fisherman not the fish.

In this case old technology at its finest and will finish off my days in the hobby with a digital and analog version....Sort of a like the gunslinger from old westerms that carried two guns......

I just called Fisher and talked to their main tech Dan. CZ doesn't stand for anything. So Coin Zapper, Collecting Zincs or anything else you can think of is good!.

It was random letters they picked
