what do you wear when hunting waders or spandex jumpers?

The water here is still cold and I never hunted in the water before? Any tips in gear to have and hunting methods would be great, thanks H20 Hank.com

Down here it's rubber boots and shorts. If the water is cold I'd wear a farmer john wetsuit and wetsuit hard sole boots. I really don't like waders, several detectorists have drowned wearing them. You step in a hole or fall, suit fills up and down you go. With the wetsuit you have positive bouyancy. A dry suit would be the ultimate but they are not cheap! If you wear waders at least consider a manual release life vest. It would give you a chance at survival. Never underestimate the water.

I wear chest waders with an extra pair of socks and sweat pants. Now this is when there is still ice in the water, so it's real cold. As the ice melts, I dress will less insulation, until it arms up to the point where I were a wet suit with boots. When it gets real hot.....I often just wear swim shorts with a long sleeved shirt so as to not get sun burned. I will water hunt for a good 8 hours on my days off.

I agree , I have wader and I'm only getting waist deep in the water, nice of the infinum that's the next one I'm getting. How well does it discriminate trash vs rings?

I wear flaming pink, leopard print, spandex tights and a cut off tank top, it doesn't keep me warm but nobody comes up to me with stupid questions and parents keep their kids away from where I'm trying to hunt

Never been to the Keys I take it? That'd look pretty much normal....

When the water is cold(snow on the ground) I use my 7MM farmer John 2 piece wet suit, when the water wamrs up some I wear my 3MM Farmer John suit, when it gets hot I wear my 3MM bottoms with a UV dive shirt(long sleeve) keeps the sun off.
