what % do you use Large, medium and small coils overall

Would be nice if the numbers could be calculated and showed. I know it's going to vary. Some will use a small coil almost exclusively and the other way around. Just would be interesting to see. Also depends on the type of hunting you do. Still would be interesting.

I just got a 6" coil. All my hunting before was with a medium size coil. I'll see how I like using the small coil.

My SEF 10X12 is on 80% of the time ... Sunray X-8 .. 10% ... stock 11" coil and Sunray X-5 .. 5% each.

I've switched over to Coiltek coils exclusively.

The 6" minelab coil is almost useless compared to the stock 10" slimline but I no longer use either. They just hang on the wall.

I mostly hunt fields, woods and cellar holes with my SE.

15" WOT for the fields and woods, and the Joey around cellar holes. They are excellent coils. That's all you need for this machine although I wish they made a three inch for working in heavy trash.

use the coiltek 15" WOT 100% of the time at the beach... works great going from the dry sand straight into the wet sand with no problem with the WOT (San Diego beachs)

I will be using the 8" FBS coil most of the time. I will mostly be hunting in high trash parks. It is very good for small Jewelry. Found 3 small pendants today; no gold though.

I'm an old coin and gold jewelry hunter and when I went to the 8" Minelab after my stock 10" died my old coin finds dropped way off. I usually hunt a 10x12 SEF or 15" WOT now.

Large coils only. Sef 10x12 or the pro 11". Anything small might suggest I'm in a trashy site and that's where my White's shine
