Need your help.. I'm looking at getting a new detector but I'm stuck..between the Whites M6 and the Garrett 1350..Please tell me what you think of the two and the one that you,d pick and why.. Thanks

[size=large]I will point out that while I think Garrett's GTP-1350 has some interesting concepts with the GTA notching system, I prefer the M6 for the following reasons:

I have had both.. Used one or the other every other time for 6 months.. M6 hands down!!

never could get to like garrett!..detector looks like somebody puked on it,bell tone was "nutty",and got lousy depth!

I have an M6 and had the GTP 1350 and i did like the features on the GTP but prefer the performance of the M6 .I didn't care for the highcoin belltone and prefer the cleaner audio target separation of the M6 especially when using smaller coils at trashy sites. The GTP i had didn't have the new chip but the M6 will ground adjust so well that i'm not sure the chip would help sway my opinion . I had fun using the Garrett GTP 1350 but the M6 responded much better to the older nasty, hotrock infested trashy sites i hunt. The coil selection for the M6 is outstanding and after 2 years of use i'm planning on keeping the M6 at least a few more. Good Luck. HH Bill

Like the others who have commented, GO WITH THE M6. Simple as that.
