If your detector has a pinpoint mode, why use an extra in-line one? I've seen many disadvantages to having one, and few advantages.
Too, when I'm getting down to business I'll use the propointer and not have to fiddle with handling the detector again, and maybe again.
What is the advantage to having an in line one?
