What Do You Think Is The RAREST Sovereign Coil?

Thus far my impression in trying to dig up threads and pics of coils for the coil sticky I'll grade them like this from rarest to least rarest, but all still very rare IMHO...

11" Coinsearch or 4.5x7 a tie probably
Sun Ray Solid S-12 Ultra Depth & Detech 8" Concentric a tie probably
Maybe the 5" Excelerator if they ever made one and instead it's a 6" now, or vise versa

Beyond that, that 5" Hot Head Ferret should probably be # 1 at the top maybe, and perhaps the 8" Ferret if there ever was one. Maybe those solid white Kellyco coils I vaguely remember in their catalog for the Sovereign which I'm pretty sure were called Penetrators or something (not to be confused with the later spiderweb penetrators)

So give your more experienced opinions here. I'm just basing this on my limited exposure to the Sovereign world for the past 3 years and my digging for coils to post in the coil sticky.

Oh, and I'd probably stick that horseshoe crab Excal coil up there in the mix to. Where I don't know. List your opinions in order if you can of rarity.

Mel, did you see the info I posted about that 8" concentric? Turns out it's been back at Kellyco for a few months now. Must be selling somewhat because I'm pretty sure it was gone for a year or two or so but now it's back again. I'd love to hear some field reports on this coil because I only found a few in my searching this forum. At least one guy liked it while the other remarks from somebody else were I think mixed.

Unstable, poor depth, didn't seem to pinpoint like a concentric should so I sold it.

I am with you Mark as I got one and thought it was bad, so it went back and got another one that was the same as it wasn't stable and the depth was nothing to brag about as I feel any 8 inch coil would beat it, even a 5 inch coil would.

I did a field test for a 8 inch, 10 inch and 12 inch concentric coil on my GT and the XS I had at the time from a different company and I was very impressed with the 8 and the 12 inch and told the guy if he decided to make them I would be the first in line for them. This is why I bought the 8 inch concentric coil of Detech, but was not impressed with it.
