What do you like about summer???

I like camping;sittin around the campfire;water detecting;of course---seeing those women in their biki....UH,I MEAN....Oh Well--I admit it-I DO notice the women in their skimpy outfits-BUT---Before I get lynched by the women here,let me assure you all I said,and -MEAN -noticed-not "obsessed after".I am very happily married-my mother used to call it"knowing which side your bread is buttered on".Besides,how many women can honestly say they have NEVER noticed a good-looking member of the opposite sex??Anyway,gettin back to the question:Sunsets over the water;the sound of rain on the camper roof at night;my wifes fantastic outdoor cooking;going for ice cream;...............anybody out there have their own favorites of summertime???

Sitting in a quiet cove dangling a line over the side of the boat while watching the sun set!

Camping in the mountains with my son.

Walking a pasture in the cool temperatures of a dewey summer morning swinging my Fisher looking for CW relics.

Sitting on the back patio with my family just enjoying a quiet evening with a cold glass of tea!!

Come on summer...I'm ready.

...smell of the morning air just before sunrise. A fragrant milky sweet mix of grass and flowers. The beach at sunrise as I watch another day begin; another day, another gift of life. Being in a tree filled park watching all the birds and animals start their day. I marvel at how God provides for them in each and every way and I'm reminded that as much as God cares for them, how much more so he cares for me.

Blackend catfish on the grill in the backyard. Time shared with my wife. Watching the bird houses and the feeders that line my backyard and seeing how busy the creatures of this world are when you take the time to just stop to watch. The courtship as Mr Cardinal gently feeds Mrs Cardinal on the back deck. The first flights of recently born sparrows under the watchful eye of their parents. I've seen life and death and the work of God's perfect plan. The flowers blazing is color, clothed more beautifuly than anything Solomon could have worn...

It's a great time!
